The 2009 Hawaii Healing Garden - Big Island Festival & Solstice Celebration will be held at the Amy Greenwell Botanical Garden, Sunday Dec 20, 2009 from 10:00am-4:00pm.

Traditions of Hawaiian Healing - Workshop with Kumu Alva Andrews a gifted spiritual and physical healer. His form of lomi lomi incorporates ho'oponopono (mental cleansing in preparation for long term results)

Sundays Festival & Solstice Celebration will be held at Amy BH Greenwell Ethno-Botanical Garden in Captain Cook, Kailua Kona. The Solstice Celebration will be held in collaboration with the South Kona Green Market, and will feature cultural presentations, speakers, children’s programs, plants produce, cooking demos, and educational presentations, music & entertainment.
The Festival will feature Healthy & Green services, natural products, and organic goods, massage and health practitioners. A non-profit section will feature community groups & educational presenters. There will be, kids activities, healthy food and family fun, with special focus on a zero waste event.
